Mandalay Overview

Mandalay was the last capital of the third Myanmar Empire. Located about 668km from Yangon, Mandalay preserves all elements of the old educational system, social and cultural development of Myanmar, especially the traditions of music and dance. It is the main center for the study of Buddhist literature.
