Located in the central highlands province of Gia Lai, 600 kms from the city of Ho Chi Minh City and 200km from Buon Ma Thuot. It is a fairly young city with 30 years old. This province is home to 18 ethnic groups, among which the Kinh, Gia Rai and Ba Na occupy the majority of the population.
The beauty of Pleiku has faded gradually, yet despite alterations and construction, the city continues to represent a precious heritage. The streets are long and traditional houses with bamboo roofs are constructed on the slopes overlooking the rivers and mountains.
