VIETNAM

Scheduled date: March 15th, 2022

Eligible travellers / countries: Travellers from all countries / territories.

Requirements

  • A nagative Covid-19 testing result by RT-PCR within 72 hours or by rapid antigen test within 24 hours before departure (except child of 2 years old).
  • Complete a health declaration at https://tokhaiyte.vn/ (Entry Declaration). Download the PC-Covid App to use during your stay in Vietnam.
  • Self-monitor for any sign or symptom until the 10th day from arrival
  • E-visa is now available at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt  for a maximum of 30 days, single entry (list of countries that allowed e-visa issuing).

Visa to Vietnam

Visa exemption is applied for nationals of 13 countries with a maximum stay of 15 days. This policy is effective from March 15th, 2022 to March 14th, 2025.

Visa exemption is applied for Chileans with a maximum stay of 90 days.

LAOS

Laos reopening programa will implemented in 3 phases:

Phase 1: January 1st – March 31st , 2022

Phase 2: April 1st – June 30th, 2022

Phase 3: July 1st, 2022 onward

Point of entry:

During the Phase 1, travellers only can enter Laos by air via Wattay International Airport and by land across the First Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge in Vientiane. More borders will reopen in Phase 2, including Luang Prabang.  

Eligible country: 31 countries (click here to see the list).

Eligible traveller: Travellers must be fully vaccinated (at least 2 shots) at least 14 days before the date of arrival.

Requirements:

  • Negative Covid-19 testing result by RT-PCR issued no more than 72 hours before arrival.
  • Health insurance with coverage no less than US$ 50,000.
  • Download the tracing contact app “LaoStaySafe”.
  • One (1) Covid-19 test by RT-PCR upon arrival and placed in a 48-hour quarantine in their hotel until a negative result is confirmed.

THAILAND

Efective date: March 1st, 2022

TEST & GO PROGRAM

Eligible traveller/country: Fully vaccinated traveller from all countries/territories.

Requirements:

  • Thailand Pass via https://tp.consular.go.th/
  • A negative Covid-19 testing result by RT-PCR issued no more than 72 hours before travelling. From 1 April 2022, travellers can enter Thailand without this test.
  • Aninsurance policy with coverage no less than US$20,000 including treatment for Covid-19.
  • A proof of prepayment for 1 night of accommodation at government-approved hotel/s; such as, SHA Extra Plus (SHA++) on Day 1 including also the expenses for 1 RT-PCR test on Day 1 and 1 Antigen Self-Test Kit (self-ATK) on Day 5. 
  • A Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination/Recovery
  • Download and install the MorChana application and set it on at all times for the COVID-19 precautionary measures and to record the self-ATK result on Day 5 in the application.

SANDBOX PROGRAM

Points of entry:

  • By air at Phuket International Airport for Krabi, Phang-Nga, and Phuket.
  • By air at Krabi International Airport for Krabi.
  • By air at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, then transit on a sealed flight for Ko Samui or Phuket.
  • By air at Suvarnabhumi Airport, then travel by a prearranged vehicle on a sealed route to Bang Lamung, Pattaya, Si Racha, and Sattahip – only Na Jomtien and Bang Saray – in Chon Buri, and Ko Chang in Trat.

Eligible traveller / country: Fully vaccinated traveller from all countries / territories.

Requirements

  • A Thailand Pass via https://tp.consular.go.th/
  • A negative Covid-19 testing result by RT-PCR issued no more than 72 hours before travelling. From 1 April 2022, travellers can enter Thailand without this test.
  • Aninsurance policy with coverage no less than US$20,000 including treatment for Covid-19.
  • A proof of prepayment for 7 nights of accommodation at government-approved hotel/s; such as, SHA Extra Plus (SHA++) hotel, within the eligible Sandbox destinations. Travellers can change accommodation 3 times within the first 7 days (can book 3 different hotels) within the area.
  • A proof of prepayment for 1 RT-PCR test on Day 1 and 1 Antigen Self-Test Kit (self-ATK) on Day 5-6.
  • A Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination/Recovery
  • Download and install the MorChana application and set it on at all times for the COVID-19 precautionary measures and to record the self-ATK result on Day 5 in the application.

PHILIPPINES

Effective date: February 10th, 2022

Eligible traveller / country: Fully vaccinated travellers from 157 countries with visa-free for a stay not exceeding 30 days (excepting Brazilian and Israeli nationals who are given 59 days stay). Foreign nationals coming from visa-required countries shall secure an entry exemption document.

Requirements

  • Proof of vaccination
  • A negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours or a nagative laboratory based Antigen Test taken within 24 hours before travelling
  • A valid return ticket
  • A Travel insurance for Covid-19 treatment costs, with a minimum coverage of USD 35,000.
  • Self-monitor for any sign or symptom until the 7th day from arrival

INDONESIA

Effective date: March 8th, 2022

Eligible travellers: Fully vaccinated travellers.

Requirements

  • Visa on arrival is now available for nationals of 42 countries (click here). Nationals of other countries should apply visa at the Consulate / Embassy of Indonesia or E-visa.
  • Certificate of Covid-19 Vaccination.
  • A nagative result of Covid-19 test by RT-PCR taken withing a maximum of 2 x 24 hours before departure.

Travellers will undergo 2 RT-PCR tests on day 1 and day 3. If the result of the first RT-PCR test is nagative, travellers can visit Bali. And on the Day 4, after the test result is nagative, travellers are allowed to visit other parts of Indonesia.

CAMBODIA

Effective date: November 15th, 2021

Eligible travellers / countries: Fully vaccinated travellers from all countries / territories.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Obtain an E-visa via https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ before departure to Cambodia. From 17 March 2022, visa on arrival is being reopen.

SINGAPORE

Singapore has implemented Safe Travel Lanes to facilitate travel during the Covid-19 pandemic. The list of countries allowed to travel under Safe Travel Lanes is updating continually. Travellers can visit this website for the latest update according to your country of origin by using the self-help tool .

Eligible travellers / countries: Fully vaccinated traveller from countries / territories as the list here entering via the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL).

  • Proof of Vaccination / Recovery (accepted Covid-19 vaccinations for entry to Singapore)
  • A Vaccinated Travel Pass
  • A travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 against COVID-19
  • Pre-departure Covid-19 PCR or rapid test taken withing 2 days before departure for Singapore. Travellers will undergo a Covid-19 self rapid test within 24 hours of arriving in Singapore and are required to report their test result via https://www.sync.gov.sg before proceeding with their activities in Singapore.
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination (if applicable)
  • Visa to Singapore (if required)
  • Download “TraceTogether” contact tracing mobile application and only active the app after clearing immigration.

From 1 April 2022, Singapore will open its borders to all fully vaccinated travellers from all countries / regions and will transition to a new Vaccinated Travel Framework.

  • Travellers do not require to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass or Air Travel Pass for entry into Singapore.
  • A pre-departure Covid-19 test by RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Test with negative result taken within 48 hours before departing for Singapore is required.
  • All vaccination certificates, regardless of place of issuance and whether digitally verifiable or not, will be accepted as proof of vaccination.
  • Travellers can submit the Singapore Arrival Card (https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/) within three days before their arrival in Singapore.
  • Travellers must purchase travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 for COVID-19-related medical treatment and hospitalisation costs.
  • Download “TraceTogether” contact tracing mobile application and only active the app after clearing immigration.

MALAYSIA

Effective date: 1 April 2022

Eligible Travellers / Countries: Fully vaccinated travellers from all countries / regions with quarantine free. Partially vaccinated and/or unvaccinated traveller can enter Malaysia and undergo 5 days quarantine if the on-arrival professional RTK-Ag test results negative.

Malaysia has reopened its borders to foreign travellers since 1 April 2022. Hereunder is the procedure for fully vaccinated travellers entering Malaysia:

BEFORE DEPARTURE

  • Download MySejahtera app and complete the pre-departure form. A Digital Traveller’s Card will be issued for fully vaccinated travellers.
  • Undergo a PCR test 2 days before departure (excepting child under 6 years old).
  • Purchase a travel and Covid-19 insurance with minimum coverage of US$ 20,000.00

UPON ARRIVAL

  • Undergo a professional RTK-Ag test within 24 hours of arrival, at any health facility of your choice or at the airport (at your own expense).
  • Children and adolescents under 17 years old are excluded from quarantine regardless of vaccination status.
