MYANMAR DREAMING HONEYMOON Itinerary
Arrival in Hanoi, the 1,000 year old capital city. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Today, we head out to explore the millennial capital of Vietnam. The visit includes the Ho Chi Minh complex including the Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square and the stilt house. Then we continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university in Vietnam. Then visit to Tran Quoc pagoda – the oldest Pagoda of Hanoi. After lunch, we head out to the Bat Trang pottery village, whose pottery roots start from the 15th century. Return to Hanoi and we will take a tricycle ride through the old quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
In the morning, departure to Mai Chau. On the way, stop to visit the private museum of the Muong culture and then we leave for the Giang Mo village (Muong ethnic group). We will walk through the village, visiting the typical houses on stilts, and they will have the opportunity to chat with the locals and learn more about their daily life. After lunch at a local house, we continue to Mai Chau and arrive in the late afternoon. In the evening, we will enjoy a traditional dance show with local rum. Overnight in Mai Chau.
After breakfast, departure to explore the surrounding villages by bicycle. We will pass through impressive landscapes of karst formations between the rice fields, crossing calm trails that connect the villages. You will have time to stop by the souvenir shops before heading back to Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi in the late afternoon for free exploring the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
In the morning, departure to Halong Bay passing by huge rice fields and villages of the Red River delta. At noon, check-in on the boat and we will start the 2-day 1-night cruise on board. Lunch and dinner will be served on board. Explore the amazing huge Bay of Halong, world natural heritage site – one of the new seven wonder of The World. In the early morning, you can participate and practice the class of Tai Chi in the sundeck. This morning, we continue to explore the bay on board. While the ship returns to port, Brunch will be served. 11:00 Disembark and return to Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi airport for the afternoon flight to Danang, the 3rd biggest city of country. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Hoian.
In the morning, we depart by boat to visit the Kim Bong carpenter village, built from the 15th century, and the Thanh Ha ceramic village, more than 500 years old. Return to Hoian and explore the ancient town including the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Tan Ky Ancient House, the Sa Huynh Museum of Culture and the Phuc Kien Congregation. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we set out for My Son – a World Heritage Site since 1999, a group of temples in Quang Nam province, located about 69KM southwest of Danang. Hindu temples were built from the 4th and 14th century under the Champa kingdom. Overnight in Hoian.
In the morning, departure to the Bana Hills recreation complex and continue by cable car to the Golden Bridge over the gigantic hands. Return to Hoian in the afternoon and free time for shopping, making costumes or relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Hoian.
Free time until transfer to Danang airport to take the flight to Can Tho city– the capital of Mekong Delta. Arrival and transfer to the city. We will take a bike ride to a local noodle production factory. We will taste noodle pizza before continuing the tour through the non-tourist villages of Can Tho and you will see the many cute bridges on the way. At the end of the tour, we will visit a cocoa farm before returning to your hotel in Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
07:00 departure to the pier to take the boat for a walk in the Cai Rang floating market. They will contemplate the daily life of the locals. You will find many boats full of fresh fruits, vegetables or groceries for sale. Disembark and then visit the old Binh Thuy house, built since the 1870s. Then we continue to Chau Doc. Arrival and we will visit a Muslim mosque of the Cham-Khmer community here. Overnight in Chau Doc.
In the morning, we set out for the sacred Sam Mountain. We will visit the Lady Xu Temple – the largest pilgrimage center in the Delta Mekong region. Then, we continue to visit the Tay An Pagoda – a mixed architecture between Vietnam, Cham-Khmer ethnic group and India. We continue to the Tinh Bien border market (on the border between Vietnam and Cambodia). Then, return to Ho Chi Minh City (approx. 6 hours) and arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Free time until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for your departure flight. Notes: the hotel check-out time is before 12:00 noon. END OF OUR SERVICES.
